Experience the Appeal of Japanese Cuisine

I have studied traditional Japanese cuisine, including kaiseki cooking, for many years and hold certification as an instructor.
While kaiseki is a refined cuisine for special occasions, Tokyo Table focuses on everyday Japanese home cooking.

Here, we cook and share the comforting dishes I grew up eating —
simple, seasonal recipes passed down through generations and enjoyed in daily life.

In Tokyo, I invite you to experience the true taste of Japanese home cooking,
rooted in Japanese everyday life.

Japanese Home Cooking Anyone Can Make, Anywhere
At this cooking class, we place great importance on teaching dishes that international guests can continue to cook after returning to their home countries. We introduce healthy Japanese home cooking centered on vegetables, fish, and beans, using simple and easy-to-follow recipes.
Japanese home cooking brings out the natural flavors of ingredients by using dashi and avoiding excessive oil and seasoning, resulting in light and balanced dishes.
This style of cooking is gentle on the body and suitable for everyday meals.
We do not rely on special tools or ingredients that can only be found in Japan, and we adapt recipes so they can be recreated using locally available ingredients in each country.
We avoid additives and chemical seasonings, valuing natural flavors and simple cooking methods.
Rather than being just a travel memory, we hope your experience in Japan will inspire you to think,
“Let me try cooking Japanese food again at home.”
At Tokyo Table, we share healthy Japanese home cooking that can be comfortably enjoyed as part of everyday life.

Home cooking is meant to be enjoyed every day.
For this reason, we focus on simple, practical recipes that do not require excessive time or effort.
We do not use additives or chemical seasonings, instead valuing the natural flavors of each ingredient to create gentle, wholesome dishes.
